Summary:

A Level 1 Claim Representative continues to build upon the knowledge and skills required of the Level 1 Claim Representative position. The position is specific to auto claims with American Family enterprise. This position supports the processes and growth of the organization to ensure industry leading customer service. The representative will provide an exceptional customer experience by managing interactions, assisting with immediate needs, and proactively working an inventory. The representative will continue to foster an understanding of our corporate culture.

Job Description:

Principal duties and responsibilities

Efficiently handle inbound and outbound interactions
Review and apply coverage, investigate claims, evaluate/write loss estimates, negotiate settlements, and process payments
Demonstrates effective planning and organization skills, which includes; time management, adhering to a schedule, and servicing claims
Ongoing job specific training and personal development
The representative may maintain a claims inventory
Cross-functional responsibilities with multiple lines of business across the enterprise
Demonstrate the ability to problem solve a wide variety of customer inquiries with minimal supervision.
Identify and gather necessary information to accurately process claims and achieve business goals
Provide exceptional customer service to internal/external customers and business partners
Utilize claim systems and other applications necessary to complete job tasks at a high level
Complete licensing and continuing education as required
