Sales Development Representative – SDR
Americas Professional Systems Group
Scope of Responsibilities
The SDR will be responsible for supporting the sales efforts of APSG, including mining and sourcing leads, establishing and building relationships with corporate executives, owners, and architects over the phone and by email. You will be responsible for researching and identifying new projects and client opportunities, presenting our services to prospects and clients to increase awareness of our brand and get appointments to present. Using our CRM system, you will enter, track and map client accounts, working to drive adoption and usage of our services. The Sales Development Representatives initiates the lead qualification process, which allows the territory sales management and personnel to focus on closing business instead of dedicating time prospecting.
Specific Responsibilities
SDR is responsible for outbound prospecting.
Specifically lead / project generation.
Using tools such as construction databases, ZOOM Info, LinkedIn, incoming leads from networking events, and various subscription lead services.
Immediate, same day follow up on incoming leads from WEB, PTS and phone calls to Bose HQ.
SDR’s will be the first point of contact for BOSE Professional, mining and qualifying the customer’s needs. Your approach is one of helping educate the customer to solve their problems.
SDR will use emails, phone calls and social media which will be personal, customized and hinge around triggering an event, and next steps action items.

Requirements
The prospective candidate should be a motivated individual, with high levels of integrity and strong customer orientation. Specific attributes include:

- Proficiency navigating construction market databases
- Comfort with high outbound activity – phone and email prospecting
- Ability to get and set appointments
- Desire to develop lead generation and build sales pipeline

- Positive upbeat personality, highly persistent and resilient
- Ability to build strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers in client firms
Bachelor’s degree or technical discipline desirable with a minimum 1-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in sales development and in the AV/IT industry. Superior verbal and written communication skills are required. SAP, BI, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Dynamics CRM experience is necessary. This is an inside sales position which can be done remotely.
