Customer Support Specialist

Position Overview:

Our Customer Service Representative will manage phone and email queries and fill sales, credit and sample orders for the Voyager and Sopris company divisions. They will field requests primarily through phone and Outlook email and Salesforce.

Core Responsibilities:

Manage phone and email queries from clients, the sales organization and other internal departments.
Screen and enter sales, credit and sample orders for clients and the sales organization.
Troubleshoot problems using a variety of technologies and resources in other departments, including Operations (Warehouse, Shipping, and Purchasing), Accounts Receivable, Sales Support, Field Sales, Product Management, Contracts & Adoptions, IT and Implementation Services.
Screen all sales order, zero dollar order and credit order actions to ensure the company maintains its compliance against Accounting and SOX controls.
If applicable, provide annual operating budget and annual revenue responsibility.
Recommend changes to processes and technologies both specific to Customer Service and to those that span multiple departments.
Additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required. Some additional college or vocational school preferred
1-3 years of customer service experience
Strong PC skills including MS Office application suite
Ability to learn systems and tools in performing their jobs (JDE)
Very strong problem-solving skills
Ability to take ownership of issues and drive them to resolution
Previous customer service and call center experience
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage competing tasks
Valued work ethics
Team-oriented
